Rings in a Candle? Seriously?

Who would think that burning a candle could also lead to a lovely piece of jewelry?! With Diamond Candles this can become a reality. Each candle contains a ring embedded into the wax that will be revealed once the wax has melted away. This ring is valued between $10 and $5000! How amazing would it be to get a $5000 ring?

Diamond Candles sent me a candle to try out and I was burning this as close to 24/7 as safely possible. I was determined to get to that ring, plus it smelled delicious and freshened up my kitchen whenever it was burning.  The scent I picked was Lavender Lemon and it is an amazing combination of tangy lemon and the sweetness of lavender.

In addition to the lovely scent and ring inside these candles they are also soy which means that they are clean burning. Other candles can leave soot on your walls but soy candles don't do that. Does anybody want to clean their walls just because of a burning candle?

These candles would be perfect for gifts.  Even for somebody who doesn't normally burn candles, the ring incentive adds a bit of mystery and fun to burning the candle.

I ended up with this yellow and silver ring. It is something that I might not wear often, but I could see it being the perfect accessory to some outfits.
