Rhubarb Infused Vodka

At the end of June some friends got together for dinner and drinks. The bar we went to had offered a cocktail which included rhubarb vodka and it was delicious! After that meal I was determined to make my own rhubarb vodka.

I started my batch over the 4th of July weekend with rhubarb from my own garden. I cannot wait to try it out in some wonderful cocktails.

DIY Rhubarb Infused Vodka

Ingredients:

• 1 quart Vodka - it doesn't need to be top shelf but don't use something too cheap either
• 1-2 stalks Rhubarb
• 1/2 cup sugar

Directions:

• Combine ingredients in a quart jar ad place in a cool place
• Shake every once in a while (if you remember)
• After about a month it is ready for use! Keeping the rhubarb in the vodka longer than this simply makes it stronger.
