Are you searching Google efficiently?
There are many different ways to modify a search to help Google find exactly what you are looking for. I have compiled a few below and included them in a printable perfect for hanging next to your computer!A few examples of how to use these tips:
- You saw a specific idea on a website and want to find it again but they don't have a search bar. Use the site:[URL] to find it!
- You are looking for a synonym or want both words in the search bar, use a ~ before the word and all synonyms of the word will be used for the search
- You want to make salsa without tomatoes. add -tomato to the search to remove results which contain tomatoes.
- You want results on websites that are only based in the United Kingdom. Use location: UK to filter out the results.
