My TV Debut

Saturday I made my TV debut; well, sort of. Last Wednesday we went with Charles & Michelle to the taping of The 206 we weren't quite sure what we were getting into as we drove up to the building. The building used to be a firefighter training facility and I always just thought of the building as the one they would catch on fire so the firefighters could learn to put it out.

We showed up to the studio at 7 and were let into the building for some wonderful munchies from Tutta Bella and local beer from Bellevue Brewery. We met up at Red Robin beforehand so we didn't eat too many of the appetizers but the Panna Cotta Al Cioccolato was amazing!

The actual taping started about 8:30 and they started with a comedian to get the audience warmed up and laughing. I was positioned in the front row on the side so whenever there was a wide or pan shot I am on TV!

The crew was shooting two different episodes so we had a brief intermission and then were back into the studio.  Since they didn't want the audience to look the same people who were in the front previously had to move back. I was far enough on the side that i was able to move more to the center (I was also able to take off my jacket so I looked different).

The second episode airs this weekend so for those of you here in Seattle make sure you watch for me! We also did promos for the show that will air during SNL so I can say I've been on SNL (well kinda).

On our way out we saw Pat Cashman so I got a photo with him! For those of you in the Seattle area, he is the voice for the Taco Time commercials.

It was a lot of fun! We would definitely do this again.
