One of the things I love about summer is that we can cook many of our dinners on the grill. We've had a few days this year where this has been possible and it is glorious. One evening while we had steaks cooking I decided to throw some pears on there. The pear halves cooked for about 5 minutes and the skin turned from green to brown; when the entire pear skin was brown I took them off and drizzled some fresh honey over them.
These pears were a delicious dessert and I can't wait until pears are in season and we can make this often.
Delsih! We will be making this for sure!!
ReplyDeleteLove how simple this is. Sometimes less really is more... especially with yummy, seasonal ingredients. This is why I love cooking and baking in the spring and summer. :)
