Baked Whole Chicken - Recipe Wednesday

Brad and I had another whole chicken in the freezer and we determined it was time to cook it. Last time we cooked a whole chicken in the crockpot, but this time we baked it. Interested in other recipes that I have tried? Click the Recipe Tab above or here to see more!

Oven Roasted Chicken

Ingredients:
  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoons Ground Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoons Dried Basil
  • 5 cloves garlic - chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Dried Sage
Directions:
  • Cover the chicken in all of the above ingredients. 
  • Let sit for 2-3 hours.
  • Bake at 350 for 90 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160F
  • Let sit for 10 minutes before serving
This was super easy and delicious. I think I might have cooked the chicken upside down, but it didn't change how it tasted.
