Upcycled Mug Rack Into Washi Tape Holder

Mug Rack Turned Washi Tape Holder

I love shopping at Goodwill and with the rise of Pinterest, shopping there is even better. I walk around the store thinking of some other way the item could be used or how it could be remade to look better. One of the gems that I have found recently is this coffee mug holder. I wouldn’t actually use it for its intended use since I like all my dishes off the counter; however, it works great for storing many rolls of washi tape. I greatly underestimated how many rolls I have because they didn’t all fit on the rack; it is going to get even worse once my Pick Your Plum order arrives.

I mostly use washi tape to add a bit of flair to my Etsy packaging. Not only is it a touch of color and pattern to the packaging; it also helps me find the correct item when fulfilling orders. I am always looking for different ways to use my tape.

This was such a great find; especially since it didn’t have to be fixed in any way to be functional. Just pulled it out of the car and put the rolls on the spindles. Now I can look at all the pretty options while working on projects.

How do you store your washi tape? I’m sure I’m not the only person who can’t resist having multiple rolls of this darling craft supply.
