September Birchbox and My Glam

Today both my Bichbox and My Glam Bag arrived.  Below is what arrived in each; I think that the My Glam (now ipsy) won this month.  One reason that it won is that it only took a week to get here as opposed to the two weeks for the birchbox.

Here are the items that I got in each box.

First the Birchbox:

• Kate Spade Twirl Fragrance (I like this sample better than last month)
• Vasanti BrightenUp Face Rejuvinator
• Jouer fMatte Facial Tint
• Nail Polish Remover Packets
• Color Club Nail Polish
• Mighty Leaf Tea

I'm looking forward to trying the first three items; however, the last three are misses for me.  First, I use Shallac for my manicures which requires acetone for removing.  I probably will end up using the nail polish remover for some sort of craft.  As for the nail polish; it just isn't really my color.  Finally, I don't drink tea so this would have been a lot more "me" if it was coffee.

 Next the My Glam Bag.

First of all, it gets bonus points for a hot pink bubble envelope!

Here is what was in my bag:

• Smudge Brush (perfect timing, I'm in need of a new makeup brush)
• Jane hot pink lip gloss
• Carol's Daughter Split End Repair
• Mirabella Eyeshadow
• Circus Hot Pink Nail Polish (this is 1000% me)

I think the things that I am most excited about are the brush and lip gloss.  The eyeshadow looks promising too since it is a nice neutral color.
