I have found many amazing blogs over the past year or so, and when I started mine I really had to try to not compare myself to them. It took a learning curve to make blogger do what I want and the site definitely is a work in progress as I find my niche and rhythm to blogging. I wanted the site to be perfect the first day and I had to figure out how to work in the tool (plus I didn't do very well in my html class in college). Thank God for google!
Over at theterpblog Katie has been talking about Living the Width of you life. I've been contemplating how to do this and I think the quote "Live your life on purpose" really ties into that. I like keeping my life full of activities and projects, even the ones that don't go quite as planned (ask me sometime about my attempt at doing the trapeze last year). I love going on vacation and making memories. Each year that Brad and I have been married, I have made a shutterfly book to document our life for that past year. There are so many fun things that we do each year I don't have issues finding ideas to put in the book (I just need to be better at taking more pictures of us together and less palm trees and sunsets).
How about all of you? Are you working to live your life on purpose? Post in the comments how you do this.

oh man, I sure try! I agree with you ... going on vacations/making memories is so very important. don't get me wrong ... I love a good vacation, but I'm always the one to say "shouldn't we just stay home one of these times?" and my husband says "heck no!". he loooves to travel. and then, after we get home and I start looking through the pictures ... I realize how very right he is. :)
