Oh Glorious Sunshine

We have been absolutely blessed these past few weekends with glorious sunshine.  Ever since Easter, the weekends have been nice and sunny and the weather has held off the rain for the Tuesday-Thursday timeframe.  This past weekend we have enjoyed the upper 70s and the pets are enjoying their extra time outdoors. 

I was recently trolling around Etsy and came across some glass straws.  They had me intrigued as they came in multiple colors and are supposed to be nearly indestructible.  The straws are made from the same type of glass as Pyrex bakeware and are completely dishwasher safe.  My order arrived this past week and am excited to try using them at our next get-together.  I ordered the 6-pack which are all different colors: Green, Cobalt, Pink, Clear, Purple and Yellow.  If you are interested in getting some for yourself, check out SoulFlowerArt's shop.

I was also at Michael's recently (ok, I might be there weekly...) and purchased a tin watering can in teal.  The second I saw it I knew it was going to be a perfect summer vase for colorful flowers.

I love how the orange and pink flowers go with the teal.  This watering can is going to hold bunches and bunches of flowers this summer, especially once the local farmers market opens up. 

Pip and Princess both love to be outside.  I'm sure Pip is plotting how to get over this fence some day and wishing he was slightly bigger to jump over it.  He actually could probably climb it and escape if he was given enough time.
