A Weekend of Crafts

Since the standard Seattle April weather returned this weekend, and I'm recovering from a week long cold, my days were spent inside contemplating which crafts to complete on my list.  I have two that I'm going to share with you today.

First, while organizing my craft room, I discovered an extra square frame.  Using my Silhouette and some spray paint I decided to turn it into a dry erase honey do list for Brad.  I painted it teal and put some cute yellow basket-weave scrapbook paper inside.  When Brad came home, he said that I needed one too so off to Michael's I went looking for a somewhat matching frame.  Both of these frames are hung in the laundry room which is an ideal location since its somewhat hidden from the normal decor and also located right by the garage entrance so its easy to update.

The other project I worked on was making a spot to hang Pip & Princess' leashes.  I wanted to move them from their current location of hanging on the back of the couch.  I bought the piece of decorative wood at Michael's, painted it turquoise and then cut out some teal vinyl with my Silhouette.  I tried to use a font which was indicative of their each personalities.

Below is what Pip & Princess would do all day if they could.  They love looking out the window and see what's going on, unfortunately they think that everybody who walks by should play with them too so there is a bit of barking every once in a while.

Anybody else have some fun crafts or activities that they did this weekend?  If so, leave a comment of what you did during the weekend.
