Welcome Sign

About a month ago I went to IKEA to return a couple items, when I walked in I discovered that they were having a garage sale of sorts.  They had a bunch of doors and drawer fronts that were all $1!  I knew that these would be perfect for some sort of project so I bought  a few.  Home Depot had Martha Stewart paint samples on clearance for 50 cents each; I got a variety of colors for painting these doors.

Today I finished a project with one of the doors (and have a couple more in the works).  The doors have a lowered panel which is great for painting a separate color.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the initial and the "Welcome".  I am super excited that it turned out (although slightly crooked...I'm still working on my vinyl skills).  The true color of the purple is between these two photos; the name of the color is "Plum Wine".
